Sometimes a shopping spree is all a girl needs to lift her spirits.  I've been down in the dumps this week ~ partly winter blues, partly body blues ~ and online sales have a way of turning a mood.  You know what else helps?  Travel.  Yep, in 8 short weeks the Ramsey girls hit Florida and I'll be dragging a suitcase of new clothes with me.

Lesa, notice I'm giving shorts a try?  They just look so good on the models.  I have no doubt they'll look slightly different on me.

Don't you love winter white?  It's clean, crisp, fresh.  Striking.  I'd stock my entire winter wardrobe with it if it weren't for two small details. 

1. I'm a klutz.
2. I have kids.

Given those two points, I think I'll stick with black.  It stays much cleaner.  But, skipping around town in this Burberry Prorsum beauty sure would be fun, wouldn't it?

 I'm hosting Miss Pippy's paint party tomorrow and want a non-Soccer Mom comfortable look.  I'll go shopping in my closet tonight {once I clean up the mess} and hope to piece together something like this.  I have a chambray shirt dress, wedge booties and colorful tops.  Unfortunately, I don't have the awesome socks, spike earrings or oversized leather tote to tote birthday crap.  Nuts!  Maybe a quick stop in H&M will turn up cheap alternatives.
