Salt water and sea air are good for my soul.
If I had a kabillion dollars my home base would be coastal. I'd start with the European kind and eventually end up somewhere always warm. Until then, I'll continue to take great pleasure in weekend getaways and week long vacations.
In case you can't tell by the following kabillion photos, our recent respite was all kinds of awesome. Here are the highlights: beach bumming, yellow hat wearing, ice cream eating, fish catching, movie watching, bike riding, bubble making, cousin giggling, seagull chasing, playground romping, stroller jogging, pool splashing and one of my favorites, dolphin watching. Yep, 3 days on the beach we were graced by an active pod of swimmers cruising the shoreline and leaping in the waves. What a treat!
...sand beneath your feet. Such a treat.
...speaking of treats, I gifted my photo contributor and hostess-with-the-mostess {Aunt 'Chele!} some beautifully packaged sea salt caramels and macarons from the fantasticly delicious Convection Oven. ah-mazing!
