We spend lots of nights putting on "shows". It consistently remains one of Max and Emerson's favorite thing to do. Last night Emerson had the idea to rehearse a movie. Actually, two movies ~ {1} Good Morning Mummy {an Emerson original, apparently Egyptian burial techniques are in the Kindergarten curriculum. her dialogue included the description of wrapping a body in toilet paper and putting it in a box. ha!} and {2} Round up at the Rodeo {my concept, yee-haw!} ~ complete with set design, wardrobe changes and script readings. ...aaaaannnnd, ACTION!
But, normally our shows are of the musical variety with princess dresses, dancing, flashlights and instruments. Well, apparently our percussion section is lacking. On more than one occassion Emerson has mentioned she wants drums. Time to make it so!
It may not be a full drum kit, but hopefully she'll be happy with this beauty by Acne Jr. It will now be part of The SpiderWebbs band.
