Recently, Emerson and I took in a local showing of Beauty and the Beast.  It was a Mommy/Me outing and we had a blast.  We haven't had many girl outings this summer, only a few, and lately I've been sooo in love with my little girl that it's given me a yearning for more one-on-one time.  I think it stems from the reality of how big she's getting.  She doesn't need me to push her on the swings anymore, she runs off and plays with the big kids, she starts kindergarten in the fall!  Sniff, sniff.  As weepy as it makes me to see her growing up, it's exciting to think of all the big kid things we can do.  More shows, more exhibits, and more of whatever it is she wants to do.
