Just when you find a photo volunteer, the dayglo lights wreak havoc.
Am I the only one with no family photos? Why is this shot so elusive? It's one we all want, right? I once saw an exhibit at MOMA where a photographer had captured an annual portrait of sisters {The Brown Sisters} spanning at least 30 years. It was brilliant and moving to see the development and aging of each family member. Upon seeing it, I thought to myself "I have to remember to do this". So far, I have failed miserably. I think I have two pictures of the four of us and half of them suck. See above.
I was giddy when the conductor of the little train offered to snap our picture and enthusiastically agreed. All hope for a fun photo was dashed when I downloaded the image and saw the weird lighting. sigh.
I need to select an event or a date every year and make that family portrait day. Maybe tomorrow!
