While shopping at West Elm over the holidays, I snatched up some curtains I spotted on clearance. They looked perfect: lightweight, neutral and on sale!
Sure enough, when I brought them home, I was in love.
The playroom has two windows and one resides in a bookcase. Because of that, I knew that window could get away with one panel split it up the middle {two panels would be too full}. Well, this weekend I sliced and diced. Easy, breezy. Mind you, I love to drag out every project and am likely to add some trim {grosgrain ribbon? pom poms?}, but that search could take forever, so, for now, I'll get these babies hemmed and hung.
And, Billy Webb spent a few minutes finishing up final wall-patching and priming, so it's a good bet that wall will be finished this weekend. Oh, and, my wallpaper samples {bookcases} and rug samples are on their way. Yahoooooeeeeeeee!!!!!
Next up - decisions (wallpaper/rug) and painting. That is touching up the trim, bookcases, windows & door (black) and stair risers. The whole room needs freshening up.
I'll keep you posted.

Oh, eep! I love seeing the before and afters! The massive amounts of shelves on the walls are incredible. I would love that.
XO
