For me, I hope forty to be fit and fabulous.
For my husband, I hope it to be fun.
With that in mind I gifted him a year of monthly outings. I want 2012 to be less about kids (of course, they still rule our world) and more about us. So this gift-that-keeps-on-giving fit perfectly into my plan. He'll open one gift every month of the year. I smile just thinking about it! {I stole the idea from a blog or pinterest or some other cyber source. Isn't it fun?}
One of my secret outings last month, in addition to running all over town to buy the gifts - time killer!, was heading to a local office supply store to pick up simple white envelopes {to enclose each month's gift} and deliver them to my rad sister-in-law, Creative Anchorage, who hand painted, stamped, detailed, decorated and labeled. As expected, they turned out awesome!!!
